[edit] Fan Fiction
This is a BandFic fandom, in particular part of that group of bands referenced with "bandom" in the exclusive sense. Its existence predates March 2003. Material for this fandom can be found several places on the Internet including FanDomination.Net [10], Quizilla and LiveJournal.
Most fans on Quizilla are teen girls between the ages of 10 and 16. They post fan fiction to the story section that is both het and slash. The het material is easily characterized by Mary Sues. Given the age of the fan fiction writers posting there, it is not surprising that many Fall Out Boy authors frequently threaten to stop writing if they do not get feedback. The community there is somewhat aware of this problem as there are several articles dealing with both in journal entries and posted as fan fiction.
