Introduction
After writing three original novels, Moon Mistress began her fanfiction writing career with Highlander: The Series and a novel entitled Highlander; Forever in 2002. Since 2003 or so she has been writing Daniel Jackson-centric adult fanfiction; her first Stargate story was Daughter of the Gods. After several stories, she opened her own website for what would eventually become the multi-award winning series Musings by Moon Light. This acclaimed series contains 7 novels and 30 short stories all centering on the character of Daniel Jackson and the original character of Calla, daughter of Ares and Aphrodite. Preferring to write with more of an original and adult flare than following the straight and narrow, Moon's stories have won the hearts of readers all over the world along with several Isis Awards and have been nominated numerous times for Stargate Fan Awards including a nomination for Best Personal Web Site in 2007. This series explores the world of ancient Greek Gods, Celtic Gods, myths and legends. It contains an array of original characters, themes, places and sitations. It includes adult content including dark material along with romance, action/adventure, angst, and hurt/comfort.
Always around to lend a helping hand to budding authors she also runs the Daniel Jackson Library where she publishes the works of other Daniel Jackson writers, such as KarenWilliam S. Moore and Ryanne, free of charge. The Daniel Jackson Library is always open to the submissions of other Daniel Jackson writers seeking to stand out from the archive crowd.
Recently Moon Mistress has returned to roots (and her name) and has published the all-original romantic thriller novel Dream Weaveralong with books of her photography of the Norwich State Hospital and Connecticut in Winter. When not writing and photographing the world around her Moon follows the Pagan Path and enjoys gardening in the warmer weather. She lives in New London, Connecticut with her husband of 22 years and their 2 grown daughters.
