1981
- The Dead Zone was a book written by Stephen King in 1981.
1994
- The Dead Zone book was made into a movie in 1994 starring Christopher Walken.
2002
- The Dead Zone book and movie evolved into a series in 2002. The series, starting Michael Anthony Hall, is in its 6th season in 2007, airing on the USA Network.
- On June 30, 2002, the LiveJournal community thedeadzone was created. [2]
2004
- By this 2004, the term drabble is being used in the Dead Zone, fanfiction communities. The usage of the term probably predates this usage as it is based on LiveJournal drabble community foundings.
- On July 25, 2004, the Russian language LiveJournal community ru_king was created. [3]
- On September 11, 2004, the Dead Zone LiveJournal community dzfic_genslash was created. [4]
2005
- In 2005, Martin Donovan appears in the season four premiere episode "Broken Circle" as Malcolm Janus.
2008
- On March 27, 2008, the InsaneJournal asylum dz_angel was created. [5]
