- On May 6, 1994, alt.tv.x-files.creative was created for the purpose of having a place for X-files fans to post X-Files fan fiction.
- The first LaLaCon took place May 6 - May 7, 1995 at the LASFS Clubhouse in North Hollywood, California.
- On May 6, 2004, the LiveJournal community dhyohko was created.
- On May 6, 2005, the LiveJournal community House_Chase was founded, devoted to gen or slash featuring Dr. Gregory House and Dr. Robert Chase.
- "D/Hr News" [1] was created on the May 6, 2005 by Soror Ava (broken_deity) with Erythros (red_erythros soon joining her. Many other posters come later but none were very active if active at all, allthingsgood lasting the longest. D/Hr news is now maintained by firefox1490 and updates infrequently with a short summary of the D/Hr fandom. More information "here".* On May 6, 2005, oo Kool To Kalypso went through a major overhaul, narrowing the focus to primarily the image and article archive so as not to be redundant with Stewart's official site and the new fansite at www.stewartcopeland.co.uk.
