Sorato

Sorato is a fan-created name for the relationship between Takenouchi Sora and Ishida Yamato from the Digimon anime. Battles between fans of these ships were a common occurrence during the run of the show.
Unlike most other Digimon-couple names, Sorato has the female character's (in this case, Sora) name first.

Though this pairing is not as popular as Taiora, blush... (a Sora fan site and fanlisting), has positive things to say about Sorato:
The most significant event that proves the two's understatement of each other was when Yamato helped digress Sora's feelings of self-doubt, returning her to her normal self. Moments before, Yamato had also been clouded with the same feeling of despair, but managed to pull through. While trust plays an important part in Yamato and Sora's bond, emotions appear to be the key factor, the main concept that makes those two click so well. Both of them are able to help each other achieve personal growth by giving each other support.[1]
Some fans of Taiora or Taito argue that Matt 'saved' Sora with the help of Joe, and that in the whole first series there were no hints whatsoever of the couple existing. They were barely friends compared to the relationship Sora had with Taichi. Taiora is more popular because many fans say it is based off more.[citation needed] What Sorato is often described as is puppy love, or lust.[citation needed] Sora fan population went down significantly after episode 38 of Adventure 02, when she rejected Tai, who had a strong fanbase for Matt, his best friend.
