The Tenth Kingdom is a mini series about a girl names Virginia, who finds herself being chased through New York by three trolls and then flung into a fairytale world along with her middle aged, cynical father named Tony. Virginia and Tony immediately meet up with a Prince turned dog named Wendell, though they just call him Prince, and with a wolf named Wolf, who is actually working for an evil queen. The four go off looking for a mirror that would return Virginia and Tony to Earth, dubbed the Tenth Kingdom by the stalking Trolls, and meet many fairy tale charectors along the way. Despite working for the evil Queen determined to destroy her, Wolf falls madly in love with Virginia.

"Huff Puff" is the leading man, Wolf's, basic catch-phrase, and usually uses it in times of emotion.
Though the prince of the fourth kingdoms name is actually Wendell, he is more commonly referred to as just "Prince".

- On April 14, 2000, The Three Little Pigs: a Tale of the 10th Kingdom by Valerie Kaye was published on FanFiction.Net. [1] It was the first 10th Kingdom story published on the site.
