AniLesboCon (ALC) Publishing, the publishing arm of Yuricon, was founded in 2003 by Erica Friedman to create and disseminate high quality yuri (lesbian/girl love) comics to the worldwide English-speaking audience. The company has not only facilitated the translation and North American publishing of Japanese mangaka who create yuri manga, but has also edited and published three compilations of original manga-style yuri stories, Yuri Monogatari, and an original, illustrated, yuri novel by Friedman.
