A Touch of Moonlight was written by ilene.

Set sometime during The Missing 12 Years this fic follows Lupin to a strange and interesting new job--as a hunter and exterminator of Dark (or just plain pesky Magical) Creatures for a private company. His partner Silver is an excellently drawn character with many concerns of her own but the fic expertly balances the pair's perspectives as Remus realizes he isn't the only one hiding something. Absolutely spectacular story.

This story was originally archived on Geocities. It may have also been archived elsewhere depending on how the archive was maintained. Many archivists published material offsite because of space constraints on GeoCities. (Popular hosts included AngelFire and AOL hometown.) In 2009 Yahoo announced it was going to close Geocities. The archive this story was hosted on will be/was affected by this decision. [2]
