Alithea is a fan fiction writer who joined FanFiction.Net in 2002.

Alithea was born in Mountain View California on August 10th, 1978. She began writing at age ten, and started writing fan fiction sometime in 1998.

Alithea primarily writes yuri or shoujo-ai (also known as femslash) themed fan fiction, though she is not limited to it, and is known for her use of poetry to break up scenes in a story.

In 2002 Alithea joined FanFiction.net.

In 2003 Alithea wrote Broken Under Me, a story about Juri Arisugawa and Shiori Takatsuki from Shoujo Kakumei Utena. In 2004 the story was removed from Fanfiction.net for its content which prompted Alithea to remove all her stories from FanFiction.net and move them to MediaMiner.org.

In 2005 Alithea returned to FanFiction.net and republished all of the stories she had previously removed, excluding Broken Under Me, and any other works deemed inappropriate for publication on FanFiction.net.

Alithea also worked under the pen name Pseftis for a brief period, writing more graphic slash fan fiction.

Alithea resides in Santa Clara California and continues to write fan fiction though much of her time writing is now occupied in creating original pieces of fiction. --Alithea 21:12, 15 June 2009 (UTC)
