General biography

Allura99, a Mississippi gal with an overactive imagination, began writing fanfiction in January 1999. She started out with a Voltron fic called "The Heart of a Lion". Her penname is taken from the name of the lone female member of the Voltron force.

Initially, she posted stories to her Tripod page. After gaining a following for her Sailor Moon and Gundam Wing fanfics, she ventured to Fanfiction.net in April 2002. Currently she writes for several fandoms as well as writing original fiction and poetry. She submits material to her personal website (the same old Tripod site), FanFiction.net, FictionPress.com, and Fan Nation.

In real life, she is a physician and is owned by one cat. She enjoys a good book, a good glass of wine, and good company. And she is always on the lookout for a good karaoke bar.
