Anna Perotti
From Fan History Wiki
Anna Perotti was a member of the Star Trek fandom. She was active some time during the period between 2000 and 2006. One of the places where her fan fiction is archived is Trekfanfiction.net.
Anna lives in a small town on the Eastern coast of Italy. She's an old-fashioned computer programmer, who started to work in the field when the most of people had no idea about what a computer was and all the technical material available on the subject was written in English. She has been a Star Trek fan since the late seventies, when Star Trek finally made it to Italy. She even learned English just to be able to read Star Trek books and fanzines, because there were none available in Italian. This might appear a minor detail, but if you think she had survived until then knowing just a few essential, computer-related, words... In 1989, she joined the Star Trek Italian Club and started to collaborate to the publishing of Italian fanzines, as a writer first and an editor later. Presently, she is charge of the whole job. Sometimes, in the evening, her husband comes home, looks at her furiously typing on her computer keyboard (after a whole day spent working on an another computer keyboard at her workplace) and shakes his head in bewilderment.
