Avocado is a member of Science Fiction and Fantasy literary fandoms. In anime and media fandoms, she is primarily affiliated with Slayers fandom and is a writer of Slayers and Harry Potter fan fiction. She is also sometimes referred to as White_Serpent, the name of her LiveJournal and JournalFen accounts (these journals are named after a character in Slayers).
She has been involved with the Fandom Wank community on JournalFen since 2005 and is one of the moderators of the Fandom Wank wiki.[1]

Avocado reported Cassandra Claire to FanFiction.Net for plagiarism of Pamela Dean's novel The Hidden Land in June 2001. Her account of these events was posted to the Bad_Penny community on JournalFen in August 2006.[2][3][4][5][6][7]
