Band Fiction Novella Writing Month

Band Fiction Novella Writing Month, otherwise known as "Biffno" or "BFNoWriMo", is a writing challenge similar in concept and style to NaNoWriMo. The goal is to write a first-draft of a bandfic novella, of 25,000 - 40,000 words, during the month of March. Biffno takes place around the Rockfic messageboards, although one does not need to be a member of Rockfic to participate.

- The second Biffno took place in March of 2008. Originally the plan was to move it to the recently created BandSmut message boards[1], but some objected to having to join a new board to follow it, and BandSmut never took off with more than a handful of members, therefore Biffno was moved back to the RockFic boards.
