In 2005, a member of the fan fiction community received a cease and desist letter from Ohio State University for her NCAA Ohio State University women's basketball femslash. The fan was also kicked out of the Rebounders, the Ohio State University Buckeye's booster club. The university informed the NCAA of her actions. [1]
