Below is a timeline of fandom related events that took place in Belgium.
- On June 25, 1999, the Dutch language mailing list DutchStargate was created. It served people from Belgium, the Netherlands, Aruba and Suriname. [1]
- On September 2, 2006 Alain, a Belgian member of The Acorn Café, had contacted Disney Benelux to inquire about an European release of the Rescue Rangers DVD sets. After some lobbying, he received a positive answer. Germany, the United Kingdom, France and most large European countries saw the DVD set released on February 17, 2007. Smaller countries like Belgium and The Netherlands had to wait until April 4, 2007. European Rescue Rangers DVDs wil be sold individually, not as a set.
