"The Bible"is the holy book of the Jewish and Christian faiths, it is one of the most published and most read books in the history of print. There is a long history of making movies based off of it, writing fan fiction based on it and creating other literature derived from its characters. Some of it comes out of fan culture. Some of it comes out of popular culture. Some of it comes from religious groups.
