Black and Silver was originally maintained by Ana Kudou, and had opened by March 8, 2002.[1] On June 12, 2002, JayKay announced that the Snape Slash Fleet was seeking a new archivist to maintain the archive.[2] Ana Kudou retained the archive; she last announced an update on December 12, 2002.[3] On February 5, 2006, Ldybastet announced that Black and Silver had been revamped and updated.[4] As of 2006, Ldybastet continued to maintain and update Black and Silver.[5]
