CW RPS is Real Person Fic based on the actors/actresses, past and present, who appeared on shows produced by The CW network (a merger between the former The WB Network and The UPN Network). This includes shows like Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill, Smallville, Supernatural, and Veronica Mars, among others (both on and off the air. Although RPF/RPS had been written about those individuals before, it was not until Supernatural hit the airwaves in 2005 that this particular grouping of RPS/RPF became consolidated into one fandom.

• CMM - Chad Michael Murray - Gilmore Girls, One Tree Hill
• JA - Jensen Ackles - Supernatural, Smallville, Dawson's Creek, Dark Angel
• JDM - Jeffrey Dean Morgan - Supernatural, Grey's Anatomy
• JP - Jared Padalecki - Gilmore Girls, Supernatural
• MR - Michael Rosenbaum - Smallville
• TW - Tom Welling - Smallville
• MC - Misha Collins - Supernatural

• Paddywhack - A fan-based nickname for Jared Padalecki.
• Smeckles - A fan-based nickname for Jensen Ackles. Also, 'FrAckles'.
• J² or J-Squared - RPS featuring the Jared Padalecki/Jensen Ackles pairing.
• J³ or J-Cubed - RPS/RPF featuring Jared Padalecki,Jensen Ackles, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
