Category talk:Fan fiction archives
From Fan History Wiki
Thinking about removing things from the big category and then separating like the LiveJournal communities category was done. Television fan fiction archives, anime fan fiction archives, multi fandom fan fiction archives, etc. I like the big category but this would make it a bit more manageable. When I get to it is another issue but if some one wants to go ahead and start that, MUCH LOVE. :) --Laura 03:20, 14 October 2007 (CDT)
[edit] Question on subcategorizing
Hey, question, since sorting out categories plays in nicely to my OCD tendencies: how would you deal with subcategorizing fandoms that have multiple sources: say, a comicbook (X-Men) that ends up getting made into a movie series, or a book series like LotR that becomes a movie fandom as well? It's multimedia in the sense of being based on different forms of media, but fandom uses the term multimedia to mean different fandoms.
- I put them in all those seperate categories... so for X-Men, Comics, Cartoons and Movie.. I would not put it multifandom just because it caters to one. --Laura 10:58, 1 December 2007 (CST)
[edit] Subcats and babbling
Still a few archives that need to be properly categorized if some one could do that. I added the subcategories to the correct fandom type sub category. So yeah. This category looks so much better than it did before. :) And Template:Fan fiction archive looks so pretty and is a nice way of outlining what information should be on pages. --Laura 23:30, 11 December 2007 (CST)
