Below is a partial list of events for the Sara/Catherine part of the CSI fandom.
- On June 9, 2003, the CSI slash LiveJournal community csi_slash was created. [1]
- On September 4, 2004, the Catherine/Sara LiveJournal community simply_csr was created. [2]
- CrashandYearn was founded on September 15, 2005. It is a Sara/Catherine mailing list.
- On November 1, 2003, cathandsara was founded on LiveJournal. It is a community dedicated to the Catherine/Sara pairing. [3]
- On January 20, 2006, the FanFiction.Net forum CSI CatherineSara was created. [4]
- On July 2, 2006, the cara_r_us LiveJournal community was created. [5]
- During April 2007, a number of fan fiction authors posted spoiler warnings for their stories regarding episodes that had not aired. In putting other warnings on their fiction, they also gave away what those supposed spoilers were. [6] This in turn frustrated people who were doing spoiler free because "Hello? There she is! A spoiler!" Much head desking was done.

[edit] Fan Fiction Archives
There are several archives which contain Sara/Catherine fan fiction. One of the largest is Passion and Perfection: CSI. This archive contains numerous stories from numerous saffic fandoms. CSI stories are located in their own section here. Most of the stories are Sara/Catherine but other pairings are represented. Sara/Catherine fan fiction is also found on the CSI fan fiction archive, CSI Forensics. This archive houses only CSI fan fiction. The Sara/Catherine category has 12 stories. [38] The oldest story dates to August 2004.

CrashandYearn is a CSI Catherine/Sara mailing list located on Yahoo!Groups. It was founded on September 15, 2005. The list is only for posting stories and does not tolerate on list discussion nor feedback.
