A Sailor Moon Romance, known also as ASMR, was a Sailor Moon fan fiction archive. Sailor Skuld founded its original form in 1995 or 1996 as Artemis and Luna's Central Command Headquarters, but it changed names and was later turned over to Andrea Hui. In the 1990s, it released weekly zip archives of new fan fiction in plain text format, including a separate zip for hentai stories. The zips were released through the Central Command Headquarters Site. The later A Sailor Moon Romance website became the archive for these stories, which were converted by the webmasters into html format. Although the text and images on the A Sailor Moon Romance website suggested a romance theme, especially between Usagi and Mamoru, the stories ranged in genres and in romantic pairings represented. The stories were later submitted directly to an automated archive rather than requiring manual archiving and formatting by the webmasters, and weekly zips were no longer released.

A Sailor Moon Romance was later located within the MoonRomance.Net website, which hosted automated archives for multiple fandoms as well as active message boards.

Despite the changes to the archive over the years, it remained the best known and perhaps foremost archive for the Sailor Moon fandom during its lifetime. [1]

A server crash occurred in mid-September 2007, and for the next two months, A Sailor Moon Romance was considered permanently disabled. Andrea and her partner George had decided not to restore the site themselves due to the work and finances needed to restore and continue to maintain it. Some members of the Sailor Moon fandom resented the pair for not maintaining their website over the years or turning it over to new management. [2][3]

As of late November 2007, Andrea and George reached an agreement to transfer the domain to Dejana Talis, who will be in charge of restoring and maintaining the fanfic archive or ASMR portion of the site. According to Talis, the forums will not be restored.
