[edit] About Cephied Variable

Cephied- or Jenn- has been participating in online fandom since she was twelve years old. Although she started out writing slash in the Digimon fandom (where she was originally known as Izzy Girl), she did not truly hit her stride until the Card Captor Sakura fandom, where she wrote Eriol/Syaoran fic. Her (still unfinished) multi-chapter epic Cessation enjoyed marginal popularity.

She dropped in and out of fandom sporadically for years until finally settling in the Full Metal Alchemist fandom. Cephied found a comfortable niche writing Roy/Ed and forged many online friendships, including one with the popular slash author Demidevi (now known as Lorelei DiAngelo). Their friendship was once quoted as being "legendary".

During her time in the FMA fandom, Cephied was involved in the short lived FMA Eastside project. A fic challenge and exchange community for which she wrote three fics: Jean Havoc, Matchmaker Extraordinaire, Risk Factor and Full of Grace. She also participated in two contests: The Steel and Sparks 'Roy/Ed Angst vs. Fluff Olympics', in which she defended Team Angst with the story Dark Night of the Soul, and Demidevi's het and squick contest for which she wrote the horror story, Lacuna. Her most well known fic for the fandom is the Leonard Cohen inspired Death of a Ladies Man.

Despite enjoying some popularity in the FMA fandom, Cephied has remained primarily on the sidelines during her eight years in fandom. Currently, she resides tangently in the Naruto fandom where she is known not for her fanfiction, but rather for her meta. Her Ship Manifesto on the SasuNaru pairing is well known and she also runs a small, author based fanfiction archive: LEGENDARY.

Cephied spent very little time in the Harry Potter fandom, however her early Harry/Draco fics have been translated into at least four different languages. Her Peter Pettigrew fic The Butterfly Theory was also quoted in a clinical essay on the character which has since disappeared from the internet.

She shares a fanfiction archive called Prolific Geeks with the Tales of Symphonia fan-author, Kaiousei. Cephied also created and runs the fanfiction/fanart challenge community: 20 Inkspots
