According to tikatu on LiveJournal, [1] , fans of the original Chronicles of Narnia books had their own set of past fannish battles and fights. When the movie version came out, the Chronicles of Narnia fandom had an inflow of new fans who fought their own fannish battles. This was confusing to some people because of the two seperate histories and memberships.

Below is a partial timeline of events that took place in this fan community.

- On June 28, 2004, the LiveJournal community narnia_movies was created. [2]

- On May 13, 2005, the LiveJournal community narniachronicle was created. [3]
- On December 10, 2005, the LiveJournal community narnia_slash was created, the first of the influx of communities on LiveJournal. Before, there were only a handful of "rare book fandom" communities. [4]
[edit] 2006
- Because narnia_slash was not made for RPS, especially of actors from the Narnia movies paired with actors from other movies, there was a vote. After the vote, narnia_rpf was created for pairings of actors from Narnia with actors from other movies in January 2006. It now contains most, if not all, of the RPF currently produced.

- On January 1, 2007, the LiveJournal community 7musicalmusesv2 was created, and it hoped to include Chronicles of Narnia among its fandoms.
[edit] 2008
- On September 23, 2008, the LiveJournal community narniaexchange was created.[5] It's a community where fanfiction writers exchange Chronicles of Narnia fanfiction. You can request any type of fic, except RPF. As of December 24, 2008 the first round is not yet finished.
