Cincoflex is a fan fiction writer. She is a Grissom/Sara and House/Cuddy shipper and a member of the CSI and House M.D. fan fiction communities. She have been involved in fandom since at least 1978.

Cincoflex prefers to remain anonymous in order to keep her family life and career separate from the world of fandom. She is willing to admit that she is a woman, older, and not of Latino origin, despite her pen name. Cincoflex tends to refer to her family members as "Hubby", "Oldest Boy", and "Youngest Son" in her LiveJournal, which is updated almost daily.
Outside of fan fiction, Cincoflex has written two novel length stories for the National Novel Writing Month contest. The two original stories are Argent Vite (2005) and The Icarus Run (2007).

Below is a partial timeline of this author's involvement in fandom.
- From 1978 to 1984, She wrote for various fanzines, including Southern Nights, Cygnet, Southern Seven, Wild, Wild West and Time Winds.
- In 1992 She was introduced to the Internet.
- From 1992 through 2003, She wrote and posted fanfiction in various fandoms on Fanfiction.net.
- During 2007, she worked on writing her Candy Shop series.
- In September 2007, she was a victim of plagarism. When investigated, it came to light that a plagiarist ripped off her Skinner/Other story written in 1998 changing the characters from X-Files ones to Harry Potter ones. [1]
