- On August 29, 2006, the LiveJournal community code_geass was created. [1]
- On September 10, 2006, an English language article about Code Geass was created on Wikipedia. [2]

- On January 14, 2007, Behind by Iori-chan-sempai became the first Code Geass story published on FanFiction.Net. [3][4]
- On March 8, 2007, a Spanish language article about Code Geass was created on Wikipedia. [5]
- On June 25, 2007, Danza de espadas by Ilye-aru became the first Spanish language Code Geass story published on FanFiction.Net. [6][7]

There is a large copsplaying community for Code Geass. It is active on fandom specific fansites and on LiveJournal.
On September 16, 2007, the LiveJournal cosplay community skyelevator was created. [15]

There is an active fan fiction community for Code Geass. One of the major archives is FanFiction.Net. It has over 700 stories on it. On Janary 14, 2007, Behind by Iori-chan-sempai became the first Code Geass story published on FanFiction.Net. [16][17]

The French language Code Geass fandom is smaller than the one from Spain. Some of the community is located on FanFiction.Net. On November 12, 2007, Adieux by Mich' Loinvoyant became the first French language Code Geass story published on FanFiction.Net. [18][19]

There is a small Spanish speaking Code Geass fandom. Parts of it are located on FanFiction.Net. On June 25, 2007, Danza de espadas by Ilye-aru became the first Spanish language Code Geass story published on FanFiction.Net. [20][21] There is an active wiki community for Code Geass. On March 8, 2007, a Spanish language article about Code Geass was created on Wikipedia. [22]

The Code Geass bebo community has no more than 500 members who discuss the anime. There is not much activity in regards to fan fiction, fan vidding or cosplay.

The InsaneJournal Code Geass community is tiny. As of September 2008, there was no one community dedicated to it.

There is a huge community of Code Geass fans on LiveJournal. They are active in fan fiction, fan vidding, cosplay, icon making and more. One community has over 3,000 members.

There is an active role playing community. Some of it is located on LiveJournal and some of it is located on FanFiction.Net. There are also role playing communities located elsewhere. The role playing communty is probably bigger than the fan fiction community. On July 4, 2008, the FanFiction.Net forum Code Geass Roleplay was created.
