[edit] Fanzines
The fandom would spring up much later, producing a couple of stories in multifandom zines. The community was involved in the support of several fanzines during this period and the 1990s. One example of a fanzine was The G-2 Files. This fanzine was dedicated to World War II television shows, and ceased publication of new issues in 1998. The zine had, since at least 1994, published stories from the Garrison’s Gorillas, Combat!, Twelve O’Clock High, Rat Patrol, Black Sheep Squadron fan fiction communities. The community would inspire a few web pages in the mid to late 1990s, most hosted on Geocities. Outside that, the community lacks much visibility.
