Culture!Fail
From Fan History Wiki
Culture!Fail, also called Race Fail 2010, happened in response to an article by Norman Spinrad that appeared on asimov.com around March 9, 2010. People responded to it rather quickly with Jason Sanford , Charles Tan and Nick Mamatas's posts quickly being linked around to let people know about the situation. Much of the activity on the blogosphere was highly critical of Norman Spinrad, whom was accused of being racist and culturally insensitive.
