DC Luder has been actively writing fan fic since the fall of 2002. Although now known more for her work in Batman, one of her earliest and highly praised stories was A Man Who... which was an X-Files fan fic. DC Luder has authored a collection of one-shots featuring Batman, more often alongside love interest Catwoman, featuring him facing a number of challenges. In Do Unto Others, Batman must race agaisnt the clock as a serial killer strikes out agains the young women in Gotham. The Ra's Al Guhl fan fic, Son of the Father, Ra’s Al Guhl emerges once more to confront Batman, although this time the Demon’s Head is not looking to be a foe.
Aside from her work on short-stories, DC Luder has produced an epic storyline entitlted the Series of Three of which currently entails three completed works (Time Will Tell, Life Is Good and One and Only) and a near completed fourth chapter to the saga (What Lies Ahead). The Series is praised for intriguing storylines, dialogue and relationship depictions as well as near spot-on character development as the entire story is written in a rotating first person narrative, of which the author never distinctly labels as to whom it belongs to.

Although a majority of her works feature Bruce Wayne/Batman and Selina Kyle/Catwoman, DC Luder has also explored relationships between Batman and Talia Al Guhl as well as Batman and Wonder Woman. In addition, supporting characters, primarily in the Series of Three, involve developing relationships between Dick Grayson/Nightwing and Barbara Gordon/Oracle, Tim Drake/Robin and cassandra Cain/Batgirl and even Alfred Penyworth and Leslie Thompkins.
In her solo The X-Files fan fic, A Man Who..., DC Luder showed the lost relationship betwen Mulder and Scully followed by his abduction in Oregon. Upon returning, Mulder discovers that Scully has moved on with her life and has married and started a family. After surprising her, Scully is forced to decide between teh life she has or the one she lost.
