Known as Case Closed in the United States and United Kingdom, and as Detective Conan in most places, "Meitantei Conan" is a Manga by Gôshô Aoyama started in 1994. It is also a long running weekly TV series with a dozen animated movies, and two live-action films. Detective Conan fandom is also often associated with the Magic Kaito fandom, as the characters of Gosho Aoyama's other comic have been known to cameo in this series.

- On February 21, the LiveJournal community detective_conan was created for fans of the anime/manga to gather and discuss the series, fanfiction, ect.
