Dirge of Cerberus was released for the Playstation 2 in January 2006 in Japan and in August of the same year in America. Set three years after the events in Final Fantasy VII (and one year after Advent Children), DoC explores the history of Vincent Valentine, one of the hidden playable characters in FFVII. Unlike FFVII, DoC is not an RPG.
