Below is a partial timeline of events that took place in this fan fiction community.
- From 1994 to 2006, ER was in its first run on television. From 1996 to 1999, the ER community was was prospering was largely a het and gen based fandom. From 1998 to 2000, WPAdmirer wrote her Chicago series, an ER/X-Files crossover that was influential in ER slashy circles. (Cathy (huntersglenn@cox.net) on alt.tv.er.creative )
- On October 10, 1997, the Pink Rabbit Consortium [1] was founded. This site was home to some of the best f/f on the Internet for a variety of fandoms including Alien, All My Children, Babylon 5, Buffy: The Vampire Slayer, ER, Law & Order, NYPD Blue, Star Trek: Voyager and Xena.
- On April 30, 1998, alt.tv.er.creative was created. [2]
- During 1998, plagiarism and Real Person Fic were not tolerated on alt.tv.er.creative. [3]
- On October 21, 2000, ER Realm Of Slash, a mailing list dedicated to ER slash, was founded. (Kathy (huntersglenn@cox.net) on alt.tv.er.creative)
