EZBoard

EZBoard was a free message board host that was popular in 2000, 2001 and 2002 because of its easy usability and ability to create one account to access multiple archived message boards. It would become less popular as Invision Board became more popular, easier to install and people hosted everything, including the message boards, on their own sites.

[edit] EZBoard in fandom

Sometime during 2000, Diagon Alley was founded by Ali Wildgoose on EZBoard. [1] The site was friendly towards adult materials, and slash based on the Harry Potter books in ways that other sites were not. As such, some NC-17 materials by big name authors would be archived here that were not available on sites like Fiction Alley. This included works by such authors as Msscribe, Stacey and Cassandra Claire. The original submission guidelines were initially very vague and generally came down to whatever Ali Wildgoose liked, she would archive.
