Egoshipping is used to refer to a story involving a romantic relationship between Misty and Gary.
A quote from the Egoshipping Live Journal community explains Egoshipping as: "For those of you unfamiliar with the term “Egoshipping”, it means simply, Gary and Misty involved in a romance. Egoshipping is also referred to as GAML or Gary + Misty. Or, in Japan, Shigeru Ookido + Kasumi.
