Sending - a mental communication between the elves, where one can only present things truthfully. This telepathy does have a limited range. Mostly used like speech although images have been exchanged with it. Apparently the distant elven blood in the Wolfrider's wolves allow them to also share this ability in a limitied sense.

Nora Jemison on October 13, 1998 in a post to rec.arts.anime.fandom with a subject of "Re: Fanfiction & Copyright (was: Fan-Fiction Errors)" says in regards to Elfquest fan fiction:
- Another example is Wendy and Richard Pini, the owners/creators of Elfquest, one of the few comics in America that I think compares to manga in quality and depth. For the most part, they don't allow fanfiction. They don't even allow their copyrighted characters to be used in the Elfquest oleplaying game; [7]
