This article is an expanded version of the list that appears on Fanhistory.com:To_do... This list covers all articles that are related to Category:Comics.

Anyone may contribute to this list, adding tasks that they notice need to be completed or removing tasks that have been completed. For discussion of this list and tasks, please use the article's talk page.

[edit] General tasks

  • ... make sure that all the page names in the sub categories have defaultsort done so articles and categories ignore the words the and a when sorting.
  • ... deemphasize fan fiction on existing pages in the Comics fandom category.
  • ... promote Comics fandom articles, asking for people to help contribute to the articles.
  • ... work on adding content so that stub listings can be removed.
  • ... create template to indicate that some articles are a class above stubs.
  • ... add featured article status to better articles in the Comics fandom category.
  • ... find comics fandom historians to get involved with Fan History to help bulk up and make the section more accurate.
  • ... define what comics are and where the line between professional and fan activities is in relation to how articles are created.
  • ... change all character page names and categories that use just first names to ones that use last names or have the fandom the character is from in parentheses after it, ex: Spock (Star Trek character).
  • ... clean out Category:Comics fandoms of characters and fansites.
