In December of 2000, Puppies in a Box, an NSync fan fiction site, went live. This site was very important in the history of the NSync fan fiction community. The site is now defunct. [1]
Between December 19, 2001 and December 28, 2001, the tolkien_slash mailing list on Yahoo discussed the slashy subtext between the actors in the movie. (Marythefan: [2])
On September 28, 2001, the mailing list WhenIKissedTheTeacher was founded. This mailing list, dedicated to the Snape/Hermione ship, saw its volume peak in December 2002.
On December 20, 2004, Thewhiteprophet posted the "Anonymous Meme," in which appears a photo of Cassandra Claire, and a manipulation of Msscribe’s ultrasound picture. [3]
