This site was the major protest site in the Star Wars fandom protesting the taking over of fannish ownership over their own creations and claiming all derivative works hosted on StarWars.Com as the intellectual Property of Lucasfilms Ltd. This was important to fan fiction because fan fiction is a form of derivative works.
