In September 1992, ForKni-L Mailing List was created by Jean Prior and Laurie Salopek for the posting of fan fiction relating to Forever Knight.
On September 19, 1999, the Pretender mailing list J-MP-FanFic was created. [1] It was dedicated to the Jared/Miss Parker relationship.
On September 19, 2000, the mailing list Dark-Angel-Fanfic was created. [2]
On September 12, 2002, FanFiction.Net banned all Real Person Fic (RPF). The Beatles community on the BeatleLinks Fab Forum, which had spent the previous two months complaining about the site, immediately went to work trying to have FanFiction.Net rescind their ban. One of their main arguments for keeping this material was that removing it violated their freedom of speech. By September 21, the petition that was circulating in various fan fiction communities had 2,259 signatures.
On September 19, 2003, the Canadian Idol LiveJournal ci_slash was created. [3]
On September 19, 2004, the Inuyasha LiveJournal community inu_stillness was created. The community maintainers are _vale_chan_, and haro. [4]
On September 19, 2004, El Juno posted Bushwank, involving Msscribe and others, on Fandom Wank. [5]
On September 19, 2005, the Discworld LiveJournal community discworld_smut was created. [6]
On September 19, 2005, the JournalFen community stargate was created. [7]
