Wiki Wednesday, Chicago is a monthly gathering of wiki people in in Chicago. You do not need to sign up to attend. If you do, it is helpful so we can know to look out for you.

Wiki Wednesday, Chicago is normally held at the Cosi located at 116 South Michigan Avenue in Chicago. The location is walkable from Union Station, the Millennium Park Electric Line and the El. It is really close to the Art Institute of Chicago. [1] If space is available, we sit in the back of Cosi, near the bathrooms.

We discussed why to use wikis, implementation issues, getting people involved with wikis. People from Fan History, AboutUs, EncyclopediaDramatica, Wikipedia, and education were represented. We discussed the universal edit button, who designed it and why. We also discussed some of the legal and financial issues related to running wikis.
