[edit] Bibliographies
I personally think that bibliographies should be top level. It is unique content, not particularly connected to anything else. I don't think it needs sub categories, that the science fiction one can go. --Laura 16:33, 25 April 2008 (EDT)
[edit] Blogs
This section drives me nuts. How do you separate blogging from social networking sites? I do think there should be a separation by service and by fandom... and that for a new category for fandom specific, there should be say a threshold of at least five communities before creating their own category. I don't think LiveJournal, okut, bebo, myspace, facebook groups should all be lumped together in one big broad fandom category because they have different histories, different user popultions, different users... and if you're wanting just LiveJournal, you're not going to want to sort through a bunch of unrelated articles to find them. --Laura 16:33, 25 April 2008 (EDT)
[edit] Characters
I'm honestly pretty happy with the structure so far. I think it is logical to the degree that if you want information on say Sara Sidle, it would be: Television characters, CSI characters, Sara Sidle... and in the Sara Sidle category or article, you'd find out all you need to know about Sara Sidle in fandom. The individual character categories are nice place holders for say LiveJournal communities, bebo groups, mailing lists, shippers and fan fiction about Sara Sidle. I'd almost suggest that there be the ability to drive down a level for larger fandoms: Sara Sidle LiveJournal communities, Sara Sidle fans. --Laura 17:29, 25 April 2008 (EDT)
[edit] Conventions
I don't know enough about the different categories to really know how well the categorization works. I do think, in the end, the category isn't as important as the follows:
1. Developing a portal for the conventions section. 2. Getting some convention organizers on board to help develop articles, promote their conventions, etc. 3. Getting a bot created to mine information regarding convention listings on various sites so that a good convention calendar can be developed.

[edit] Corporations
I think the category is needed because it is important to have a history of corporate involvement in fandom. That said, I'm not sure how to organize it... Do publishers belong in this category? If not, why not? If yes, how the heck do we get rid of the non-corporate fanzine publishers? --Laura 18:08, 25 April 2008 (EDT)
[edit] Dates
The category feels like it needs a clean out and reorganization. I'm just not certain how. Any proposals? --Laura 18:32, 3 May 2008 (EDT)
