[edit] Factions and Wars
- Factions - subgroups of Forever Knight fans who share a favorite character or favorite relationship among characters from the TV-series. Many factions have their own website and/or mailing list to share their particular favorites from the TV-series. Factions also often become teams participating in the FKWARS.
- FKWar - an elaborate collaborative writing project that takes the form of a game. Fans of Forever Knight may participate in the FKWAR by writing fictional scenes and/or appearing in scenes written by other fans. In these scenes (which are mini-stories) fans interact with each other and the characters from the TV-series. These fictional scenes are then posted to FKFIC-L for distribution throughout the mailing list membership. Each FKWAR is unique with its own premise. Other than the first, which began spontaneously, FKWARs are scheduled events which typically take place 24 hours a day in more or less real time for two weeks (by which time everyone is exhausted").
