Founderfic is a piece of fan fiction using the four Hogwarts founders, Goderic Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw. This type of story usually is medieval, but they also can involve bringing the founders into the present time. This term is used in the Harry Potter fandom.
