  • In 1997, Martin Van Dam, a native of the Netherlands, began www.full-house.org, including what would become 2+ seasons of "new episodes" that were actually ideas he came up with. Some subsequently thought they were actual new episodes, though they never aired anywhere. Some aspects were slightly more Eurocentric, such as the oldest daughter's attitude toward premarital sex, but they tended to stay withint he framework of the series.
  • In 1999, the first "Full House" Yahoo Groups began appearing.
  • In 2000, the author kknown as "Me" on www.fanfiction.net posted his first "Full House" story on that site, a script. The author also sent scripts to www.full-house.org. However, because of later change on fanfiction.net policy, the script was removed.
  • On August 12, 2002, the LiveJournal community, badfic, was founded. The purpose of the community was to mock badfic and share horror stories from reading in the field. Members were also allowed to write their own badfic as a medium of discussing other badfic. In February of 2003, Delzinko would mock a piece of badfic from this community.
  • On July 3, 2003, the LiveJournal community bad_smutfic was created. [1] Among the fan fiction communities represented on this community include: Dragon Ball, Final Fantasy, Full House, Gunsmoke, Harry Potter, Scooby Doo, Star Trek, Star Wars, The Strokes, and X-Files.
  • On May 4, 2004, the LiveJournal community 4ever_fullhouse was created. [2]
  • In August, 2004, discussion on finding a way to fill in blanks and explain so-called inconsistencies began in earnest. The autor "Me"'s polls on various Yahoo groups asking what other fans thought were utilized to an increasing extent to attempt to answer this. This effort would result in the "Full House Chronology."
  • In 2005, "Me," Joe Menninger, RKORadio from fanfiction.net, and half a dozen others began to produce the Chronology.
  • On March 18, 2005, the MySpace group WeLoveFullHouse was created. As of August 14, 2007, it had 4,971 members. [3]
  • On November 13, 2005, the LiveJournal community [[4]] was created. [5]
  • In August 2007, WeLoveFullHouse members discussed which episode was their favorite.
  • In December, 2008, The Full House Chronology, at 521 pages and with over 600 footnotes, and covering the TV and Book Universes, was declared complete, although there would always be possible revisions.
  • Sometime early in 2009, it was discovered that the "How Rude" fansite was defunct, leaving the "Tanner central" fansite as the home of the Chronology, although it could also be viewed on various Yahoo groups in an older version, or accessed by e-mail, as noted in posts on the Yahoo groups fullhousefreaks, Full House, and fullhosue4life, among others.
