An important online service during the early and mid 1990's. A series of discussions took place there which are now referred to as "the GEnie posts." Those participating in the discussions included BATB writer George R. r. Martin, Kay Simon, Becky Bain, Linda Mooney, Roxanne Shearer Koogler, Sandra Garrett, Margaret Davis, and others.
