According to fandom wank comments:
- "Annie Sewell-Jennings once made a crack in her lj about wanting Bush to die. Next thing she knew, she had Secret Service agents on her doorstep wanting to assess her as a threat to the President. They talked to her and her mom for a bit, decided she was about as dangerous as a drugged puppy, and left her alone. Shook her up a bit, though." [1]

- Annie S-J, pretty big BNF in a couple of fandoms; the last one before she left was I *think* Spuffy in Jossverse.
- She was writing about how Pres. Bush said someone told him "I pray for you every day" and how moved he was by that. She said something along the lines of "so what, I pray for him every day too. I pray he drops dead."
- Next day, Secret Service showed up at her house.
- No shit. It was the biggest "blog" story of the year, made a lot news. She left fandom not terribly long afterward, but I don't know how connected that was to the incident. You can probably google it. [2]
More details explained:
- A bunch of us who knew her offline can vouch for the truthiness. Not to mention all the news sources that picked it up.
- I mean, the Service guys were nice, she said, they kind of knew it was BS, but that's their job, and they have to investigate every claim. Basically, someone who didn't like her must have alerted them, bc I am sure the freaking Secret Service don't read our LJ's. Still. Better safe than, etc. [3]
