- Grillows is another pairing name for Grissom/Catherine. It came about by combining Gil Grissom and Catherine Willows 's surnames.
- Purejoy . It came from the etymology of the names Catherine and Gil. Catherine in Greek means Pure and Gil in Greek means Joy.
- G/C shortened name for Grissom/Catherine.
