- In March 1993, the Nifty Archive came on-line. It is well known in fan fiction fandoms as a repository of boy band and celebrity erotica. One of the fandoms represented was Hanson.

- In 1999, FanFiction.Net was a central fan fiction archive for this fandom.

- On December 5, 2000, the mailing list PopStarFanFics was founded. [1] This list hosted Back Street Boys, NSync, Take5, No Authority, Natural, Christian Davis, Moffatts, Hanson, Skandal, Westlife, A1, MyTown, 5ive, O-town, Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson fan fiction.
