Harmonians are, technically, Harry/Hermione shippers. However, the term is typically applied to only the more zealous supporters of the ship, those who sincerely believed that the pairing would and must happen rather than simply liking the two characters together. It has been claimed that they have a collective philosophy that extends beyond the pairing war. This philosophy is generally considered to relate strongly to "Christian values", such as chastity and purity. According to Harmonians, Ron/Hermione is abusive, and Harry/Ginny is shallow and based on lust.
