[edit] Why Merge?

There are several reasons to merge pages:

1. Duplicate content exists. They should be combined and put on the same page.
2. An article is closely related to another. Combining pages won't take away from the content.
3. The amount of text on a page is limited and likely won't ever get past a certain point. It would be better to put that content into an already existing page.

[edit] How to merge

1. Identify the two (or more) articles you want to merge.
2. Open each article's edit page.
3. Copy and paste the information from one page to the other page.
4. Set up a redirect on the page where you have removed all the content, which you put on the article you merged it into.
