Hentai
From Fan History Wiki
Hentai is a Japanese word meaning "pervert," and is used in English to describe piece of fan fiction that is sexually graphic. These are often PWP works that are explicit at the expense of plot or character development. The term is used to refer to fan art such as doujinshi and media properties as well, such as sexually explicit manga, anime, and video/computer games. It is sometimes used interchangeably with ecchi, although ecchi is generally less explicit. Some fan archives prohibit hentai by banning adult works; archives dedicated to hentai also exist.
